A New Liturgy's 8th album, The Lord's Prayer, helps us embody and put The Lord’s Prayer into practice. The 25 minute musical and guided experience helps us enter into one line at a time, allowing God to speak and open us into deeper spaces of healing and action.  

In this season of pandemic, hyper-division, and reckoning with our history of racial injustice, we’re often at a loss for how to pray. Our words keep failing. But this prayer of Christ offers a holy and generative pathway through. 

In addition, we’ve included an abbreviated liturgy to pray the Lord’s Prayer in our own words. This shorter recording offers prompts for each line of the prayer, and then gives space to respond. 

Finally, we’ve created a printed version for those who want to practice this liturgy in their church or living room. This pdf is highly adaptable, so feel free to make it work for your particular community.
